Recently Papillon has been using her hands more and more.
In just this week, really, she has gone from random flail-y movements, to more purposeful grabbing and moving.
And yesterday, she used her new found holding skills to tell me she is ready for solid foods:
YouTube Video.
Apologies for not uploading it directly here; I think blogspot hates me. Also, apologies that it is sideways. I have no idea how to fix that, except to stop taking videos holding the camera sideways.
And a little picture of the event for those who are too lazy to link to YouTube.
In actuality, Papillon will not begin solid foods until probably Christmas at the earliest. I am very much enjoying the simplicity of her nursing-only diet at this point, and we are in no rush to make life more complicated by adding mashed fruits and veggies and rice cereal into the mix.

What a fabulous day that was! Chloƫ was very happy to meet her "cousin," and it was wonderful having a day of girl time!
