The fun continued into Friday evening when we all (Mon Amour, Papillon and myself) went to a baseball game downtown.
We took the bus to and from, which was economical and quite an adventure. Papillon did fantastic though!
Before the game we watched a couple of jugglers perform by the harbor. The first guy was quite skilled in the jugging department, but not very charismatic. His attempts at humor were awkwardly delivered to say the least. The next guy was hugely charismatic AND an excellent juggler. Though he could have messed up every trick and no one would have cared!
Unfortunately we didn't take any pictures. Sorry about that.
We did get some pictures of the game though.

Papillon seemed to enjoy herself on the whole.
She dutifully smiled for a picture with her daddy.
But for mommy, she just started licking her lips like she was hungry. At least I know exactly what I mean to her :-)
We didn't stay for the whole game - I think we made it through 5 innings or so (we had a bus to catch, and didn't want to be out super late). But we succeeded in seeing all of the runs. We were losing 4-1 when we left, and that ended up being the final score.
Oh well, you can't win them all. (or, in the case of this home team, very many of them for that matter) But Papillon did get an official certificate commemorating her very first game. Definitely something to add to the baby book.

We got a certificate for Emma's first game too...and the O's have actually won both games that she's been to at this point! You had a lot better shot at seeing a good game recently, but even though they're doing so much better, there are still a few losses...
I bet she did a great "O" during the National Anthem!
