Road Trip

This past weekend we set out for our first significant road trip as a family.
It was time to visit the country and see some friends.

In preparation for our trip, Papillon got all dressed up in an adorable outfit.
The cutest part of this outfit is actually the large flower on her bum, which we neglected to photograph.

First we stopped by for lunch with some fabulous friends!
(Who happen to own an amazing B&B that you should check out sometime if you are in the area)
It was a great time! And Papillon slept.

Then we visited our little farm house which we moved away from in an awful hurry back in March.
Here are me and Papillon, both squinting from the sun.

Lots has changed on the farm.

They replaced the mailbox.
They planted a vineyard.
They opened a B&B.
They planted a 1.5 acre vegetable garden.
They got some chickens.

The cows are still there.
Molly is still there. Remember Molly? She is all grown up now. And a full fledged part of the herd. In fact, she is expecting her own little baby cow any day now. Crazyness.

It was a nice visit all around. Papillon slept pretty much the whole time.
We love city life so far, but visiting the country made us remember how much we loved country life as well. It was good times. Lots of fond memories and definitely a place we will visit lots.
