Day 2 of our little Family vacation included the real reason for our visit to West Point. It was time for the annual Crab Carnival. Which is probably the only tourist type activity in West Point, so its a big deal.
There were ponies.

Wrestlers.
Alpacas.
Living statues.
And all sorts of craft vendors and fried food.
Papillon took in the sights from her sling. Small town folks are so nice; we got lots of compliments on both the sling, and the baby :-)
The festivities climax with the Crab Carnival Parade. It was quite the production with 3 or 4 marching bands, some karate clubs, boy scouts, and all sorts of other fun things.
Other than the motorcyclists who revved their engines ridiculously loudly, Papillon enjoyed watching all the people go past.

All in all, it was a very lovely vacation!
