Remembering my love of grocery shopping.

I am not as much of a hard-core couponer as I used to be. I just don't have the time to do it like I used to. I do still use coupons, but my strategy is different, more streamlined, as it were.

So, shopping trips like these are few and far between, but when they happen, I LOVE them.

Here is what I got on a recent trip to the store:

4 half gallons of tea
1 tube toothpaste
4 packages hotdogs
and 4 peaches.

Total Cost: $2.70
Of that, $1.20 was the peaches.
The hot dogs were free.
Tea was 25 cents each
toothpaste 50 cents.

Ahhh, it was such a fun shopping trip!
