Last week we had the opportunity to have dinner with some friends. We had an absolutely lovely time. They are a lovely couple.

This is me looking contemplative/mildly concerned or something. Just to prove that we were there. There are no pictures of Mon Amour - he was holding the camera the whole time.
Oh, and I brought this for dessert. Yummy blueberry cobbler, modified from a recipe from the Pioneer Woman. (all I changed was to use blueberries instead of blackberries.) It was very yummy! And she was right - the ice cream made it just perfect.

yay - we were so glad to catch up with you guys. we might just have to plan something for the week after next when we're back! and the blueberry cobbler was amazing too!
