After exciting berry picking times, my friend and I headed to the beach.

And there was italian ice! Which is almost as good as the snow cones that were there last summer.

This particular friend and I never manage to get pictures of us doing things together. So for posterity's sake, I must post these pictures of us chillin on the beach

This was also chilling on the beach. Poor thing was quite dead. But in case it wasn't sure that it was dead, this little kid attacked it with his shovel. The fish gave a nice little bounce each time it was whacked - but it was definitely dead.

The life guards removed it from the beach before too many parents noticed their children playing with the disease ridden fish.
There were other exciting adventures, including the moment when all the beach umbrellas became spears - and one nearly took this old woman's head off. Yikes.
But all in all, a very relaxing time.
