We interupt our regularly scheduled blogging to bring you this random side note:
Friday night, as you know, we went to see fireworks at a small town near our house.
What we didn't know was that on the actual 4th of July - you can actually see 7 different fireworks shows FROM OUR HOUSE! (with a potential 8th show that we think we saw hiding behind the barn).
It was awesome. Obviously we weren't super close to any particular show. But it was like 360 degrees of fireworks! Coupled with tons of fireflies hovering over the cornfields.
If we are still here next year, we will throw a 4th of July party cause it was pretty spectacular.
