A Discovery

I have yet to purchase a single piece of artwork for my walls, but some how our walls have managed never to be boring, largely thanks to these rather later circus posters that we own.

We had one in the kitchen and one in the living room for a while. We have since found a better option for the kitchen, so it was just this tiger poster hanging in the living room. Well, some how, a spider got into the frame, and then died. I have no idea how that happened. But it did. The dead spider under the glass really bothered Mon Amour, so eventually I took it down and took apart the frame so as to clean out the spider.

Much to my great surprise, there was not one poster under the glass - there were 4!

Two very scary clown posters:

Who really likes clowns? They are so very freaky looking. We concluded on the spot that there is no way we would hang these clown posters in our house. It would give us worse nightmares than the tiger and the panther.

Then there was this one:

Ignore the fact that the poor abused elephant is tusk-less and chained up all over, and its quite a nice subdued poster. I like it.

So we put the tiger and the clowns in the back and now the elephant adorns the living room wall (and yes, I got the spider out)

the elephant is the best choice of them all.
