There are a lot of soybeans on the farm this year. Fields and fields of them.

Some times when I walk past them, they just look so lush and fluffy that I feel and urge to try and bounce on them, and suspect that they would move under me almost like a waterbed, or a trampoline, or a combination of the two.
But what is most fascinating to me is what they look like up close:

They look kind of like pea pods. Which makes sense I suppose, peas and beans tend to grow like this.
