I will try and fly through some Christmas memories, for the sake of getting them officially documented on the blog.
My office had their annual "Christmas Day of Fun". This year it involved visiting an Ice city

It was this huge display completely made out of ice, kept in a tent that they kept at 9 degrees. It was quite cold. Fortunately they lend you a parka for your tour.
The toy factory part was cool - they made it look like all the toys started out as a block of ice and were then formed, and then turned into the actual toy.

There was an ice slide. I passed on actually experiencing this excitement, but was told it was quite the thrill.
There were adorable ice penguins.
And wouldn't you know it, it ended with a huge (at least life sized) Nativity scene.
I am always amazed / impressed that in this politically correct world, in a completely secular Christmas celebration, they would make the Nativity the grand finale of the show.
All in all, it was a very lovely time.

Wow - neat toys! And truly the world does always seem to come back to the Nativity and for that reason alone, may we always celebrate Christmas - it does get The Message out!
I actually got to see the Ice sculptures etc in the Nashville Gaylord several years back...any they had the Nativity then too!
Very cool...or should I say...COLD!
