Christmas Part 3b: The Snow

I kind of figured we would have a white Christmas this year - what with heading to the midwest and all. Oddly enough, there was snow on the ground, but we actually got more rain than snow while we were out there. And I am pretty sure that back home got more snow than where we went. Very odd.

But we enjoyed the snow nonetheless. (We also enjoyed the propane stove in this little house where we stayed, that would thaw us out once snow adventures were over)

We stayed at a cabin at a youth camp for most of our trip. It was fun to see all the summer camp signs for cabins and trails and such covered in snow.

And of course, it was also a delight to find the tubing hill covered in snow.
Mon Amour went down first.

Then his sister.

I refrained because right where Mon Amour is in this picture is where it drops off pretty steeply. Much too intense for me and munchkin.

Good times all around.
