Easter and Crawling

Yes, I am just now posting about Easter. Two weeks late. But oh well. Actually, in case you haven't noticed, this isn't really real-time blogging. Events usually get posted 1-2 weeks after they occur. Such is life.

Anyway...Easter.

Papillon got all dressed up in her pretty little Easter outfit (its a size 6 months...she is a pipsqueak. What can we say). Got her hair done up all pretty and posed with a flower:

She usually likes to pull the petals off of flowers...

...but she busted out a cute smile before we lost any petals.

Right about then, Papillon took off crawling.

She decided that the flower was boring, and she would much prefer to play with the camera lens cap which was sitting in front of me. So off she went, crawling for the first time, in a dress no less!

Here is a little video action of the crawling.

We thought this little crawling was impressive....that was two weeks ago. Since then she has gained a lot of speed. She does this little gimpy-legged crawl where she really only uses one leg to crawl, and drags the other one along behind. Its quite cute. Her favorite things to crawl towards include: electrical outlets or anything with a cord, choking hazards of various kinds, and Marge's dog bowl. There will be more video footage of this at some point.

So sweet! I love her little dress. And you cracked me up with what she likes to crawl towards...how do babies do that? They must have a sixth sense. :) She is so cute!
