Europe Trip Part 6: Grenoble Lodgings

Our next stop was Grenoble. There we decided to stay at this lovely hotel:

Which was worlds nicer than the places we stayed in Lugano and Milan (ick)

Lugano was wonderfully clean and the people were very nice - but there were about 20 bunk beds in the room where we stayed, which gets old kind of fast.

And Lugano was worlds better than Milan, where it was loud, uncomfortable, mostly clean I suppose, and just for fun - we had a bidet in our room. Ick.

Yes, this:

was much nicer.

And it had a nice view from our 5th floor balcony.

The bathroom was also lovely....and...wait! what is that I see!

It had one of these things! What do you call them, again, its been so long since I have had one....

Oh right....a "bathtube". I had completely forgotten.

Anyway, the hotel truly was lovely. The bed was comfy, the air conditioning worked, it had a tv that got more than one station (all of which was NOT true about our Milan hotel) and it had a bath tub(e). A very very short one, but I enjoyed in none the less.

Oh, and in case you are wondering - we concluded that despite the bathtub(e), this bathroom IS actually smaller than our bathroom at home. Miraculous, I know! But they succeeded in fitting the bathtub(e) in by having the door open out instead of in (brilliant!) and putting the toilet so close to the tub, people of average height or more, must actually sit sideways....
