Part 2:
Assessing the Damage

This is our wood pile. We are clearly not used to snow like this...we didn't really bring any wood inside before it got buried. Fortunately it dried out pretty quickly once we dug it out.

As far as the actual measurements - and we were measuring drifts...there were also spots where there was hardly any snow. So these numbers do not technically reflect actual snow fall...just the depth of the drifts.

24...a solid 2 feet. Very nice.

Oooo...27 inches. Even better.

Oh yikes - 30INCHES!



Oh, and just cause I don't know what other category I would put this under...here is a picture of a cow (though, they were definitely not "damaged" I promise).


Cows are apathetic to snow. If they get cold they don't show it - they just stand there...and collect snow...and let icicles grow off of them.
